Velma's - Home of the Sunday Blues 'N' Jazz Club is a place where people can reacquaint themselves with cultural music, musicians and music history. Velma's Home of the Sunday Blues 'N' Jazz Club is also a place where the Bay Area Society can meet and network in a safe and pleasant atmosphere.
San Francisco is now providing the African American population with a place to enjoy the best of local African American Musicians, National and International Acts. The development of our mentorship programs and a Blues and Jazz Museum was established for the preservation of Jazz and Blues. Velma's - Home of the Sunday Blues 'N' Jazz Club is proud that musicians now have a place to express their art form. It is Velma's - Home of the Sunday Blues 'N' Jazz Club responsibility to preserve and pass on our cultural music to future generations.
Our members consist of business owners, sports figures, attorneys, bankers, politicians, doctors, nurses, educators, real estate agents, politicians, public safety personnel, journalist, councilors, models, cosmetologist, caterers, bartenders, administrators, artist, entertainers, contractors, retirees and many communities.
After The Grand Opening of the Velma's - Home of the Sunday Blues 'N' Jazz Club, more than 100 groups have preformed for members family and friends. It will always be a pleasurable task of the promoters to continue provide versatile and quality entertainment at affordable prices!
